Syd (00:00.982)

Well hello everyone. It's been quite a while since we've had a podcast and I apologize for that. It's just things have gotten quite crazy and it's gonna get even crazier because now we're entering Halloween time, the spooky season, which is very quite exciting. Yes it is. Now this is a special podcast that we put out a while ago. Questions for me for an upcoming documentary.

So we're going to answer those questions and I'm going to talk a little bit about this documentary and a little bit about kind of what's coming up and things that are in the works. So here we go. Let me pull up the questions. So first of all, let me introduce myself and what I did for the film. My name is Sedoni Banks. You can call me Sed. And I basically produced the film. I did the camera.

the editing, pretty much the questions and overall everything for this documentary to happen from production to post -production to also going to be releasing it. So I put on a lot of many hats and this is really the first time I've really am putting out a film or something of that sort. So.

It's been all a learning experience by far and I've learned a lot and I can't wait to share with you more about it and I can't wait to talk about it. Now the film is called Haunting with Heart documentary and it is a documentary pretty much about haunting with heart, haunted attractions, haunted displays, Halloween displays, and the people behind it.

It's really focusing on pretty much all of the work, the passion, the heart, the dedication that it takes to run and operate a haunted attraction or a Halloween display. So we ask a bunch of different questions and we didn't get to use them all sadly because there were so many things that I wanted to hit because I feel it's important. So we didn't get to answer them all, but maybe we'll have some special kind of like.

Syd (02:28.744)

Extras and whatnot to maybe put out some more of those Questions that were unanswered. There was a lot of good information. It was really hard at editing to Cut out what was important Because like I said in my case it was all important But I didn't want the documentary to be way too long Because then you learn you lose interest and stuff unless you're like me and you're somebody who's really into that stuff You wish you could go on for hours. So it just depends on the kind of person

But this haunted house documentary is kind of more intended for people who don't know about haunted attractions or Halloween displays or kind of the works and the magic that goes behind them. It's also for people who love haunted houses and the haunted attractions and Halloween displays. But it's also for people who are kind of unknown. It's kind of an educational thing. Or if you're someone who's interested in acting.

or having a haunted attraction or a Halloween display, kind of what it takes and kind of what to expect when you're getting ready to do that. So we give a little bit of education and some tips and tricks on the haunted attraction industry. So this film is very exciting. I can't wait to have it come out and for...

people to watch it and hopefully get something out of it. So I'll go ahead and answer the questions I talked a little bit about the film. I don't want to go too into it. If you want to know more, you can go to hauntingwithheart .com and all of the information on the film is there. And pretty much anything you want to know, it goes into it. We also have a IMDB, I believe that's what it's called.

If you Google it, it will show up. So just look up Haunting with Heart documentary. So the first question is, what is Haunting with Heart? Which I kind of went into. It is a documentary about the haunted attraction industry, as well as home haunts to Halloween displays and the hard work and everything behind the scenes of what it takes to actually own and operate one. So that's pretty much the nail on the head. Haunting with Heart, it's in the name.

Syd (04:52.074)

You know, why we do it, all the passion, the blood, sweat and tears that go into it. That's what Haunting with Heart documentary is. When is it coming out and on what platforms? So we didn't put out the date yet because we were waiting for a final, like a finalization, which we just got. We submitted it to Prime Video and Amazon Prime for whatever reason, declined it. They didn't even tell us why. And that's fine. Whatever.

But that was kind of the platform we were really hoping to go with and unfortunately, whatever reason, it did not make it. And there were a lot of steps that I had to take in order for me to even submit it. So it kind of really makes me mad because I went all that length to submit it and they denied it and can't even tell me why. So...

I don't even know why you guys have that option to people to upload their stuff. Anyways, so yeah, so because of that sadly we're probably just gonna have it come out on DVD and like mp3 file and it'll be directly sold on the website. The website, sorry.

And that is hauntingwithheart .com. So it will be on there and it'll be for sale. And like I said, you can either get it on DVD or you can get it just as a file. So sadly, those are the platforms right now. I wish it would go somewhere else. Another thing we're looking into is possibly submitting it to different film festivals. For sure. I would really like to put it out on Phoenix Film Festival. Right now we have a GoFundMe.

to raise the funds to get enough money so we can submit it to Phoenix Film Festival. So if you're interested in that, again, go to hauntingwithheart .com and it will have that information as well. So that's another thing. So we're hoping maybe in the future it will be in film festivals. But as of right now, it is going to just be DVD and MP3 or MP4, whatever.

Syd (07:16.418)

And when it's coming out is October 13th, 2024. So this year. And you can actually order it before that. And we might have a special release date where it's a little bit earlier than that, but the official actual day is October 13th, 2024. So that's kind of what we're looking at. We might eventually put it out on YouTube after a while, like a couple of years or whatnot.

So, but if you want to actually see it in support and again, all of the money and whatnot is going to oddity 13 inc, which is a charity that is trying to get its starting. So we're hoping with anything like that, it will help with funds for that. What is the rating? So I really wanted to keep it PG or at least PG 13, but

Haunters tend to kind of speak their mind and they don't have a filter. So due to that of language as well as alcohol and some of the footage and whatnot, I'm not saying like anything really inappropriate but bloody gory whatever, it's going to be rated R, sadly. Not something I wanted to do, I did want it to be...

PG and more family orientated, but you know what, what can you do when you're working with, you know, a certain demographic of people or, you know, and hunters are special breed. And again, like I said, there's no filters. They kind of let loose. we had one drinking while on the interview, so it's just easier to just rate it are sadly, like I said, it's up to the parent really, if they want.

their younger people, younger children to watch it. I'm hoping maybe the next one will try to actually stay more on the PG, but yeah, this one, just, it didn't happen. So, and there would have been a whole lot of editing and it was, it would be a nightmare. So that's kind of like the rating as I would say are just because of the language and the scenery and such. So sadly, yeah.

Syd (09:44.384)

What are some of or who are some of the people in it? And what are their haunts or displays? So, we have a pretty awesome cast. And let me pull up the website here. I know who they are, but I just want to make sure that I hit it and say everybody's name. So first off, I'm in it. Not because like, I really wanted to

look at me, look at me, it's more just because I know have a lot of information about haunted attractions and I wanted to be able to share what I've learned. So I am in it, Sedoni Banks, and I'm with Miss Creation's Haunted Attraction and my dad, Ray Banks, again, I wanted him in it because he's been doing a lot more even since I was little. He's been doing Halloween stuff for a very long time.

Lots of good information. So both of us, Ray Banks and me, Sedoni Banks, and we're both a part of Miss Creation's Haunted Attraction, as well as United Zombies of America, which is one of the major sponsors of Haunting with Heart. Go figure. Stacey Dennis. And she was also with Miss Creation's Haunted Attraction at that time. I don't know where she's at now or if she's even with a haunted house. And then we have Michaela.

Nastasia? I believe in Nalastasia? Yeah. If I said her name wrong, I'm so sorry. She's awesome. And she's the owner of Hillbilly Holler, which is a really awesome kind of display haunt, if you say. It's really cool. I would suggest highly suggest going to it. We try to go to it every year. And then there's Rich. And I know him by Dirt Buster.

That's the name I know by, but his name's Rich. And he is the owner of 42nd Haunt, which is a home haunt. I've never been, I've wanted to go, but every time I try to contact him to set up an interview or anything, I never hear back from him, so I'm not exactly sure what happened or why he won't talk to me anymore, and that's fine. And then the next one is Darrell Wallen, and he is known as the Devil. He's also in it.

Syd (12:07.166)

And he is a traveling haunter, so he does different haunts. And he mainly is at the Haunted Graveyard in Arizona, which is a home haunt, which is really, really cool. So I went over kind of who they are and the haunts that we have. have Miss Creation, Hillbilly, Holler, and 42nd Haunt. Those are the main haunts that we have. So that's kind of like what you're looking at right there, those haunts. We do have a commercial.

Or I mean, I'm sorry, a trailer out also. So you can go to that. And there is a trailer.

Syd (00:03.246)

Alright, had to pause back.

Syd (00:07.832)

Alright, so like I said there's a trailer out. Please take a look at the trailer. It's pretty cool. It's on YouTube or it's on like I said the website Haunting with Heart documentary. I mean not documentary just Haunting with Heart dot com. But the whole name of the documentary is Haunting with Heart documentary.

Syd (00:27.832)

How long did it take to make? Well, interview itself probably took, I don't know, a couple of months. First I had to try to put out that I was doing it, and if anyone was interested I had to wait for people to say they're interested, and then for them to set up interview times and stuff. So...

It took, I would say it probably took quite a few couple of months. I don't know exactly how many, but it took a while and then it took even longer to get everything on the computer. And then I had to wait like about a year to get a new computer because my other one was too slow. So I would say overall it took about two years to make. would have taken less time if I didn't have the computer trouble.

Also, I had to try to figure out what I was going to use to edit and how I was going to go about it. And that also was determined on the platform I wanted to release it on was, like I said, Amazon Prime. So I had a different software than I usually use because I was trying to make it so it would work with that. And well, like the other question I answered earlier, yeah, it didn't work out exactly.

100 % has wished. So I'd say it took about two years, give or take. It took probably like a month to get all the questions and what I wanted to ask. So I would say for sure at least two years. I wanted to release it last year, but it just didn't happen.

Timing didn't - it didn't - just didn't work. How much did it cost to make? Well, a lot of the stuff I already had. So I already have a camera, recording, and lighting. I think I had to get some more lighting. And, like I said, I had to get a new computer. So probably like a thousand - around a thousand dollars -ish, give or take. Not counting, you know, the -

Syd (02:53.632)

monthly fee for the software and all that and upgrading different softwares, but I would say probably about probably about a thousand dollars. What were some obstacles that happened and how did I overcome them? I said, the whole platform thing was very sad that Amazon didn't accept it for whatever reason. So just going to have it come out on DVD.

And, you know, technically by cell was kind of sad. So for me, it was a little disappointing that way. how I overcome, you know, however came it was just, well, we're not going to have a platform. We'll just try to put it in some festivals, some film festivals, as well as just release it on our own. So that was one obstacle. Another obstacle, like I said, my computer was acting up and whatnot. So.

I had to get a new one, that was an obstacle. The software I was using was way more advanced than the computer I had, which is really interesting because I had... My dad got me like a gaming computer, which was supposedly, you know, ooh, had everything I needed, yeah. And don't even get me started about the memory on the computers. my gosh. So that was an obstacle. Probably a lot of other obstacles was...

just the irritation when you're editing and all the time it takes and getting frustrated, just different things. And a lot of it too was like trying to get people to be interviewed and if they were serious about it and trying to set up interviews and even trying to set up interviews of like going back and seeing them. And there was storms.

one year that knocked a lot of people's displays down. So like we had dates and I wasn't able to go because of the whole storm situation. And I couldn't reschedule because I was again, once September, August, September, October hit, we're extremely busy and it's really hard to do anything. So that's why I try really hard and like ahead of time, I tell people you need to book us.

Syd (05:19.38)

way before that and people just tend to drag their feet and they want you to do something within like a week or even a month and it's like you know I'm not that magic so that was really frustrating but you know just overcoming it is either just letting it go or trying to reschedule it or just realizing that sometimes things just don't work out and in a way I'm kind of glad I didn't have more people that I interviewed

Because it would have made it even harder to pick questions to make it Not as long so I That was like some of the stuff another one was I interviewed a certain person and I didn't get to use any of their stuff just because of how things have went down Don't really want to go into detail with that. So I had to scratch one complete interview, which was again kind of sad it was a complete waste of time and It was just frustrating but

You know, that's life, things happen. That would - I would say is probably - I didn't have a whole, whole lot of obstacles, but I would say probably the major one is just Amazon not taking our documentary, not even giving an explanation or anything. So, whatever. That's that. What was something you learned from making Haunting with Heart? wow.

I learned a lot, like I said, since this was like a first time film that I've done like this, serious one, there was a lot of learning. But something I learned from the interviews was how awesome these other people are and like how to hear the similarities and the passion that each one of them had and getting to know them and some of the things I learned too is like really quite sad too.

I don't think it made it on the documentary, but some of the interview questions kind of talks about the sad parts of the industry, like how they put profit over people and certain haunted attractions, how they misuse and abuse their actors and hearing it from actors and like some of the stories was really for me, it was, it was eye -opening because I knew

Syd (07:43.318)

Some of these haunts abuse their actors, but I didn't know that they went as far as they did. So for me, that was kind of like really just eye opening and just like, wow, like I can't believe that anybody would treat anybody the way that these specific haunts treat people. But yeah, that's, I learned a lot about just the industry and how other people perceive it and their struggles and what they've done.

and the things that they try and how they come up with ideas and their thought process and getting, like I said, getting to know them. So I learned a lot of, a lot of things and it was really fun getting to interview people that were like -minded. It was kind of like just hanging out with friends, asking questions. That's kind of how I felt. Do you have any good stories about making the documentary? Actually.

I do. I have a really, really interesting one. If anyone believes in ghosts or spirits, one of the interviews that we did, I think it was the first interview that we did was with Daryl the devil and he breathed fire and he gave us a location to meet him and it was a cemetery. And then I was like, okay. And he wanted to breathe fire while you film. we have him, you know, breathing fire for the documentary. And he did it in a graveyard.

Now, the clip you can't really necessarily tell that's where he is, but he actually did that in a graveyard of a friend that passed there and he did it in their honor. So we filmed him, you know, breathing the fire and whatnot. But right after that, we were going to ask him a couple of questions there and then go to the second location. Well, the very first question we asked him is probably, I don't know, a couple of seconds in.

And my light goes off. Out of nowhere. It just went off on my camera. And I had a new battery, it was fully charged, and the camera stopped recording by itself after a while. So it was like, it was just really odd. Like, out of nowhere, just stuff stopped working. And Darryl, the devil, told us that he can see spirits and stuff, and he said they were angry.

Syd (10:10.69)

There were some that were angry because of what he did there. So they were messing with our equipment. So we were like, okay, so I think we should just go to the next location because it seems like we're not going to get anywhere now. So that was, that was a very interesting story. And Darryl is quite a character himself. I mean, it was so much fun working with him and getting to hear his stories and finding out more about him. So.

That was an interesting, a really fun story. So I don't know if I really have any others. I just know that that one was one that was like, just, it was just odd. It was just really weird. And it was a story to tell. And also like a lot of people, how many people can say I've seen a fire breather in a graveyard? Not many. I'm sure there are some, but it's, not that common. Next question. What was an air v an - blub blub.

Sorry, sorry, sorry. See, I'm human, I mess up. What was one interview that you really enjoyed and why? Well, I really enjoyed all of them, to be honest. I really did because like I said, I was just kinda like hanging out with friends when you have something in common with people and you're talking to them just like as if they're a friend, you're asking them questions, you're answering them. I really enjoyed all of them, but one that I really enjoyed was

probably with Dirt Buster Rich because he was just so funny and just like a very upbeat interview and he just he always had a smile and I that was the first time I ever met him was actually doing his interview so it was like we were going to a stranger's house we don't know but we got to know him and his family and he even showed us some of his props and stuff it was really cool

I was really impressed with his interview and I did really enjoy it and getting to know him. But really I enjoyed all of them a lot just because it was fun. It was cool getting to hear stories and share stories because you don't hear me talking but we would stop the interviews and kind of just talk and then we would go back and interview. So was interesting. How long did the interviews take? About an hour.

Syd (12:35.628)

Really depending on how in depth the person went, it would take an hour, maybe a little bit more. But that's not, like I said, you're not going to get to see everything that they talked about. But yeah, I would say each interview was about an hour.

Did you ever want to give up on Haunting with Haunt documentary and why? Not necessarily. There are times that I was frustrated and maybe a little bit defeated. So I would like walk away from it, take a break, come back. But I never really wanted to give up on it necessarily. Again, the whole like Amazon not accepting it thing was very

disheartening and it was kind of like all that hard work and you kind of feel like it was for nothing, but I kind of sat back and thought about it and was like, well, that's okay. It'll just be released a different way. And maybe it's for a reason. So.

Syd (13:42.392)

That's probably the biggest letdown, but really, I mean, like I said, sometimes during editing and different things, I would get frustrated or there's even a couple of times like my software would just stop and I would lose what I worked on. So there were times that, yes, it was like really disheartening and like you're just like, my gosh, like, but because of the work I did put forth and I knew that the people that I interviewed

are waiting and excited, you know, like excited to see the outcome. So I kind of just like put the sadness and disheartening and kind of just take a break from it, walk away, come back, breathe. Another thing is just breathe and kind of remember there's always light at the end of the tunnel. So that's actually a good question, but yeah. Why did you make haunting with heart? So like I said, I've been in the haunt industry since I was really young.

And I've learned a lot of what not to do from some really horrible haunts, but I've also had some really good experiences and learned good things. So one thing I kind of wanted to teach was that for anyone who's interested in the haunt industry, kind of give them tips and tricks, but really what the big outcome or like what I like, why I made it was because I wanted to educate people on all the hard work.

that goes into these attractions and displays because it doesn't just happen overnight, it doesn't just pop up. A lot of people put a lot of time, a lot of money into them. Some people buy a lot of what they put up, some people make a lot of what they put up. And some people spend hours and hours creating and making these displays and these walkthroughs and...

A lot of people, I think, take that for granted and they just go to these attractions and they're like, okay, cool, whatever. They don't actually step back and like think of everything that goes into it from sound, lighting, audio, acting, costuming, makeup, know, all that operations, ticket sales, advertising, marketing. I mean, there's so much that goes into having a haunted attraction or even having just a Halloween display. mean,

Syd (16:02.486)

It still takes a lot of time planning and like, what are you going to do? What are you going to do that's better from last year? So really the whole reason I made it was just major, like mainly education purposes and just to get people's stories out. Because again, these haunters, these people have these amazing stories and you would never get to meet them. I mean, it's going to be

Probably a big chance that you'll never meet them or see them and get to hear their stories, but this way you actually can and you know, it's kind of like You're getting to meet people that you would never even get to meet because of this documentary and getting to hear these stories. So That's really why What is the overall outcome I want from making Haunting with Heart? kind of went into that with the why but like

My overall outcome is just education and getting the story out as well as letting people know how much time, energy, money, passion, everything that goes into having these haunted attractions and displays. So people are a little bit more thoughtful or like when you go through them, you actually have a little bit more respect or you kind of understand the complexity.

of having these attractions and these displays and everything that goes into it. My overall outcome would be like a lot of people watch it, it gets shared. You know, it kind of becomes a name for itself and people talk about it and it also makes people talk more about the Han industry and you know, Halloween and kind of talk about that kind of like bringing awareness as well as

telling the stories of these people and getting it out. That's like the overall outcome I would really like. I would also like to help raise money for the charity that's involved. I would like to help get that off the ground. It hasn't really been able to make a lot of money, so we haven't been able to do a whole lot with it. So the goal is like, hopefully we will and be able to actually help people and make a difference in our community with that as well.

Syd (18:23.662)

And the next question is, how old was I when I got into Haunts and Why? If you listen to the very, very first podcast, I go really into depth with this question. I don't want to do it just because it's very long. I started when I was 15 and I found it by accident, the very first Haunt I worked at. Kind of stumbled upon it, but it really saved my life and really made a huge difference in

me and who I am today. So that's another reason probably why I made this documentary was because literally a haunted house saved me. And again, if you want to know more about that, listen to the very first podcast of Haunted Attractions and Horrgalore and you will hear that full story. It's quite sad in some ways and it's a little bit dark, but really a haunted house saved my life and without it, I really don't know where it would be.

So yeah, that's a little bit of why I got into it, because I don't want to go too much into it, but I needed something as an outlet when I was 15, mainly because I was getting bullied and whatnot. And like I said, I just happened to find this haunted attraction and it just clicked. So that's kind of that. So the next question is, what did you come up?

How did I come up with the idea of Haunting with Heart? I've always kind of wanted to do, whether it was like a video or a movie or something of the haunted attraction industry. I also have seen a couple. I like researching haunted houses and watching videos on YouTube and documentaries and stuff. And I've just been inspired by a lot of what I've seen. And I'm like, well, why couldn't I do something like that? So.

That's kind of like the idea is I've always wanted to put something out and educate people more on about the industry. So it just kind of was like, okay, why not? Like I said, other people are doing it. There's educational videos. There's other haunted house documentaries out there. And Sydney Neal with Rocky Point haunted house did one and it was like really, really good.

Syd (20:50.44)

And I just wanted to kind of do something similar, so I decided why not. How did you use... Well, what did I use to make Haunting with Heart? Some of these questions are a little hard to read. Sorry. What did I use to make it? I don't know exactly what that means. Like software or cameras? I'm not sure. I use a Nikon camera. I have a couple of different ones.

I just shoot it with that and then like I said I have lighting equipment as well as like a microphone that attaches to the camera and software I mainly used Adobe. What is it Adobe? Trying to remember what the name is.

Syd (21:40.43)

Adobe Premium Pro, I use that with a little bit of Vegas Pro 16 .0 and I usually use VideoPad video editor, but because of like I said the whole Amazon thing I went away from that and did

premium pro so that's I don't exactly know what you're asking like what did I use I that's what I got I don't know I don't know what exactly what I used but yeah so I used my basic it's like a my photography cameras I use those I have two different where I have like three different cameras that I used and then

Some of the film that I got was from other haunts and stuff that I got over the years and I just put it together. But that's what I used to make it. Hope that kind of answered your question. How long did editing take?

my gosh, it felt like forever. Probably like two months, I would say. Ish. Maybe a little bit longer than that. It was, it was fun. It was so much fun. What is one thing that makes you excited about Haunting with Heart and it coming out? Again, getting to share it with other people. Hopefully they get something out of it and...

that it makes a difference and teaches people about the industry. So I'm excited about that. I'm also like, I'm really excited to share the stories of these hunters with you and that you get to learn about these individuals and kind of what they do and who they are and why they do what they do. So I'm really excited about that. really, I mean, I really like it, but you know, that's kind of biased, but

Syd (23:46.6)

I really tried to make it interesting and, you know, make it fun as well as educational. So I'm hoping, you know, it goes well. This is the last question that I got and it is, are you going to make more films or and or haunt docs, which means documentary? I hope so. I have like a couple of horror film ideas that I'd like to do someday.

A lot of it's just like finding the location and the cast. So I do have some ideas for like short films and whatnot. I would like to make more documentaries like Haunting with Heart 2 or whatever, you know, and kind of just keep the series going in a way and like continue to tell stories of different haunters and, you know, more about the haunt industry as it goes and like.

how technology is probably going to end up changing more of the industry and how AI or whatnot is going to make it even more different than what it is now. So yes, I would, I would like to make more documentaries and films. I like doing that stuff. It's fun for me to come up with characters and writing backgrounds and stories or getting to share, you know,

things that I'm learning and things about haunted attractions and Halloween displays. I really would like to even maybe make documentaries on specific haunts alone or kind of like follow a certain haunter or, you know, and more in depth with them. That's something I'd like to do. It's just hard. Like I said, the busier you get with every season, the harder it is to

kind of do things. And sadly, a lot of these hunters only do things around Halloween. They don't think about like doing stuff earlier before. If they could do that, it would make it so much easier. But yeah, I would love to make more documentaries and short films and stuff. And thank you for all these questions. I hope I answered them to the best of my ability.

Syd (26:10.35)

I enjoyed answering them. can't wait for Haunting with Heart to come out, like I said, 13th, 2014. And I look forward to hopefully people wanting to see it and support it. That would mean a lot. And it's going to be a lot of fun and educational and yeah. That's pretty much that. So now I just kind of want to talk about

kinda what's coming up and why is everything so chaotically crazy. So I can't say everything because it's under the works, but Ms. Creation's Haunted Traction is coming back, hopefully. Haven't signed the deal exactly yet, but it's looking very positive. It looks like it's gonna be a very special event for two days.

And I'm so excited. I've missed doing it. And I know that there's a lot of fans and supporters out there that have been begging and asking, when is it coming back? So that's exciting. There's also another event that UZA is going to be involved in this October and September and even a little, the beginning of November. And

I can't say a whole lot about it. It's going to be zombie related and it's going to be something new and fun that is coming to Phoenix or technically Arizona, Phoenix Chandler area. And I will, you know, tell you more as it comes out and information comes out. One of the things I can tell you is glowing pumpkins is coming to Phoenix, which it's usually in Tucson, Arizona.

but it's coming down to the Phoenix area, which is super exciting. If you've never been to Glowing Pumpkins, it's a really awesome event that is family friendly. They have something for everybody in the family. It's technically you are walking through amazing artworks of different pumpkins put together, making different themes and all kinds of magical fun. They usually have also like little events and they have

Syd (28:27.594)

shopping and all kinds of things that you can do. I don't know what all they'll have for this year since it's going to be in a whole new location. They might even have more, but you can go to Glowing Pumpkins, Google it and it comes up. But that is coming to Phoenix. That's really, really exciting. And Old Tucson is opening up Nightfall again, which is really exciting. We were supposed to go to the...

press conference, but sadly something came up and we were unable to make it. But from what it looks like and it sounds like it's going to be quite a year for them, Tucson is really the spot to be in Arizona if you want the best haunted attractions. Because Arizona's best haunted attraction, and I can say that because it's been voted it by Scurryface and different platforms like that, but

Tucson Slaughterhouse or the Slaughterhouse in Tucson, however you want to call it. They are the best haunted attraction. It's the best for your buck and it is really an amazing experience from the history of the building to the Haunted Self and all the stuff that goes into it. So for sure, if you're really big in haunted houses and you live in the Arizona area, it's well worth the money in the drive. Skip the other haunts.

and go to Tucson's Slaughterhouse. And if you're in that area, could also check on Tucson's Nightfall, which is also a very, very good attraction. So Tucson's got it going on. Another one that we recommend based off of last year is Sanctum of Horror. That's also a really good one. And Mill of Madness, which is coming back this year as well. It'll be their second year. So for Arizona, we have some exciting news happening.

We will be going to Nightfall on their opening night, so we will be doing a review on them. So that's something to look forward to. And I know we'll have a Halloween special and some other podcasts coming up. So look forward to that. It's good to be back. I missed y 'all. I know that there's been a lot of people asking what's going on and whatnot. And it's just, it's just been a rough.

Syd (30:46.862)

couple of months. So it's like I said, it's good to be back. And I thank everybody for sending these awesome questions in. And I thank you all for listening and hopefully subscribing to this podcast. But yeah, and then another thing, just saying, and I know I did a podcast on this already. We now have a year round costume shop called Evil Izzy's.

And it is a year round costume shop in Arizona. So check them out. That's pretty awesome. And. Wow. I don't know. There's there's that there's also another podcast called scary cast and they're also very good. So they're another one that you might want to listen to as well. So that's kind of what's happening. I can't, like I said, give a hundred percent info yet, but we will update you.

And as always, there's the amazing haunted attractions that are opening up like Fear Factory, The Darkness, Limp Brewery, Creepy World, Erebus, and ugh, I can't think of all of them right now, but there's so many different haunts. Sir Henry's Haunted House, and all these different ones. 13th Gate. So check out USA Haunt Search for

different haunted attractions. you're not on our site, send us your information so we can add you to our site. It costs nothing. But yeah, like I said, it's great to be back. I really thank you from the bottom of my heart for listening and being a loyal audience. And we look forward to having more. And I thank you. Ooh, before I go, I can't believe I almost forgot, silly me, is, like I said, Miscreation's coming back. Woohoo! And we are doing tryouts and auditions, as well as we have an application.

Syd (33:10.774)

If you go to myscren .com, you can actually fill out an application for our haunted house. We actually are paying this year. It will go into depth. If you go on the application, it'll tell you the breakdown and everything. It's only two nights and it's in October. It's only two nights.

And we're going to have training and tryouts and all that. We have auditions right now set up for August 23rd and 27th at 7 p at Coconeo Park. Again, if you need that information, it'll be on Miss Creations Facebook, as well as our website. Again, -Y -S -C -R -E -A -T -I -O -N dot com. And we are looking for actors and actresses to join us for.

this season and like I said it is actually paid this year which is awesome and what I can tell you is it's going to be in a very awesome location so you're not going to want to miss out if you've ever wanted to act in a haunt or you're curious or you want to learn this is the perfect opportunity because we're going to teach you as well as it's only a two night commitment and if you can only do one of the nights that's fine and like I said it'll talk about the pay and all that if you go and apply.

I can't believe I almost forgot about that. If you know anybody that's interested, let them know. But that's also news that is coming. So, Ms. Creation's back, the documentary, glowing pumpkins, all this exciting stuff. UZA is gonna have an event coming up. So, just pay attention to USA Haunt Search and...

United Zombies of America and UZA's Miscreation and You'll know what's going on, but we're going to go ahead and cut this I thank you all very much for listening and I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did Thank you for the questions and I hope that you will hopefully watch and like Haunting with Heart if you know anybody who might be interested in learning about the haunted attractions or even people who don't know anything about them

Syd (35:34.048)

a perfect way to educate them. Well, thank you so much for listening. Until next time, remember, every day is Halloween.
